About Me
I started in photography 35 years ago. My first "real" camera was a Minolta SRT 101 35mm SLR. In 1981 I upgraded to a Canon AE1-Program complete with 50mm, 100-200mm zoom and Vivitar 285 flash.

During the early 1980's I started developing and printing my own films and photographs. First only in black and white and eventually moving to a full color darkroom setup.

In early 2000 I bought my first digital camera, a Sony Mavica. Paid a small fortume for it, but that was the start of a new era.

I'm currently using a Nikon D7100 and a D5100 with Sigma 18-200mm, Tamron 18-270mm, Sigma 150-600mm and Nikon 50mm f1.8 lenses. For quick outings I always carry my Sony Lumix FZ-70 with me.

I have recently acquired a set of Lensbaby lenses and just love the creative possibilities they have opened up for me.

In the past 3 years I have also been shooting on film again in Lomography style using plastic toy cameras. Very rewarding and interesting experience.
